Nikki cooked me dinner...
...And we drank some wine, and chatted for ages about stuff. And we gave each other cards. And loads of hugs. And then 'we' watched Desperate Housewives, and went to bed. Best Valentine's day in ages. Anyone else do anything nice/nicer/nicest?
(and I don't just mean those who are attached, I was single for many, many years and sympathise with the plight of the single person on Valentine's)

Didnt hear you screaming protests about the watching of desperate housewives so less of the 'We' mister! Although choice is somewhat limited when you have grand total of four channels one of which is in Irish.....

Well Sean bought me a card and a creme egg and a 4 pack of ferrero rocher (spelling?) and then fecked off to Wavin for the evening.. so I went to the gym. I thought it would be empty and everyone would be out for dinner but no.. it was quite full. Well after 11 years I didn't expect much really.

There was a thing on Today FM yesterday about this guy who was going to go to the gym yesterday evening to pick up single girls... apparently it wasn't only single girls at the gym last night though...

Look at you, all apologetic for having had a good Valentine's Day...
You didn't brave the restaurants then? (can't blame you really)

Hey, I'm nothing if not a reformed single person. I didn't brave the 'oh look it's valentine's let's charge double' restaurants, no. Nor did I buy ridiculously overpriced flowers. But I will be buying half-price chocolates today or tomorrow. For me. Coz I like chocolate. :-)
(I might save one or two for her indoors though, or I'll be risking certain death)
