Meme Me Baby One More Time

And here we go again... Thanks to QE for this one.

What time did you get up this morning?
About 9. Had to check out of a caravan park by 10 this morning, to go for breakfast in a roadside café, somewhere in Wales.

Diamonds or Pearls?
Diamonds

What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Narnia I think. I must go to the cinema again soon, it's been too long.

What is your favourite TV show?
Currently, 24. Previously, various shows from Babylon 5 to Farscape and many more, some actually not sci-fi, amazingly enough.

What do you usually have for breakfast?
Two slices of toast, one with Marmite, one with good quality jam, a mug of tasty latté (made properly), sometimes a glass of OJ (let's say 2 out of 5 times), and a cigarette.

Favourite cuisine?
Italian

What food do you dislike?
Chicken. It's fowl (ha!).

What is your favourite CD at the moment?
Hmmm. Possibly Demon Days by Gorillaz. I haven't listened to a cd since I got my iPod at Christmas, but that's the album that I burned to my iPod from a cd that I listen to the most (this question is dated imho).

Morning or night person?
Night.

Favourite sandwich?
Ooooh, now there's a question. If you expand this question to include to include any type of bread split in half and filled with tasty stuff, and you expressed the number of possible sandwiches that at any particular time I would classify as my 'favourite' in kilometres, the answer would be roughly the distance between the Earth and the Sun. Today, it's Roast Mushroom and Gruyere.

What characteristic do you despise?
Stupidity. I really hate when I or anyone else ever does anything stupid. Because it's stupid. And therefore unnecessary. So there.

Favourite item of clothing?
Pants.

If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be?
Anywhere? Anywhere at all? But in the world? Antarctica.

What colour is your bathroom?
Kinda off-white-ish. Or something.

Favourite brand of clothing?
Threadless.com

Where would you retire to?
Where would I retire to, possibly New Zealand. Where will I retire to, probably like, Wexford or something.

What was your most memorable birthday?
Dunno really. Never was a huge 'birthday' person. 21st? Something like that.

Favourite sport to watch?
Football/Formula 1/Rugby/Snooker. Pick one.

Who do you least expect to complete this?
Adrian.

Person you expect to complete it first?
Possibly Annie.

Person who is least busy?
That's a bit of an open-ended question isn't it? What does that mean? Person who is least busy? Anyone who is asleep!

When is your birthday?
The 13th of May. I was born on Friday the 13th. Nikki was 13 on the 13th (her birthday is October 13th). BWA-HA-HAAA!!!

What is your shoe size?
8 or 42.

Pets?
Two: A spider in the corner of my bedroom who I have named Spidey and a plastic skeleton that hangs off the mirror of my car called Mr. Bones.

Any new and exciting news you?d like to share with us?
Err... Hmmm... Not really. You all know me and Nikki bought a house, right? No? Well we bought a house. Yay!

What did you want to be when you were little?
An Astronaut of course! What a silly question.

What is your favourite flower?
That ghost orchid thing from out of Adaptation. S'lovely.

What date on the calendar are you looking forward to?
Whatever date it is when I move into my new house. It will be soooooon (crosses fingers, prays to God...).

One word to describe the person who you snaffled this from?
Geek? I dunno. I think I met him once, but I only know him through his blog. And that tends to be at least moderatly geeky (at it's most non-geeky times). And geek is a good thing, to all you non-geeks who think it's not.

Comments

By the look of the dates I think both Annie and Adrian had completed this before you.

Certainly in present company I'm a geek (there have been times when I've preferred 'techie', in company who considered 'geek' to be a really bad thing). Although I'm pretty sure we haven't met.

Can I come for breakfast round your house?

It's interesting, all you boys are way harsh on stupidity. I can think of lots of worse characteristics.

QE: I know! Did Adrian do it...? I actually saw it on your blog first, then as I was completing it and checking my RSS noticed that everyone else appears to have done it too. Did we or did we not meet at the sevitzdotbraai last year? I'm not sure.

Annie, next time you're in Dublin you're more than welcome for a bit of brekkie! And I can think of worse characteristics than stupidity too, but none that annoy me as much.

Ignorance is worse that stupidity. If you are stupid you may have been born that way, but it you are ignorant you have only yourself to blame.

I don't think I ever completed this. At least not on my blog. I may have done on Annies blog.

Good point sliabh, but I class stupidity that you are born with as inherently different from the 'learned' kind. And I would class stupidity and ignorance as different sides of the same coin.
