Pricey McPriceface
In this list of the 50 most expensive cities to live in the world, Dublin comes 18th (London comes 5th btw, Adrian, Dan, Annie et al), more expensive than Rome, Dubai (kinda unbelievable?), Los Angeles (I guess Beverly Hills isn't included in the survey), San Francisco and Miami.
What's really weird is that Moscow, of all cities, is top of the list. Is this because you need to buy a new car every month because the Russian Mafia keep stealing the one you have? If so, the statistics are flawed, imho.

Russia is shit awful expensive. Just looking at it from a business side (and that is who these figures are targeted at) a western standard hotel room (think Hilton, Marriott etc) costs at least $400 a night. It is notorious for the "screw the westerners" attitude of people there when it comes to prices.

Weird, isn't it? From having a crumbling economy after the Iron Curtain came down, to being the most expensive place of all...
I still thought Dublin would be higher than 18th, though.

ohj my god Matt, I feel like you have stolen my identity, "pricy McPriceface"? That's my thing and you know it! :P Also, I don't think Dublin is that expensive really, if you are not a tourist and also clever and don't go to places that are known to be rip offs, its just about having a brain for your wallet as well as your body!

You say that like it's a bad thing. I'd rather live in the 5th most expensive city than the 18th. I'd rather be 5th most expesnive than 5th poorest.
You're just jealous cause we kick your butt at being expensive. Even with your nbew found economic growth you can get as expesnive as us.

Me, I'd rather live in the least most expensive city in the world, but I don't think that's really practical, giving that it's Asuncion in Paraguay. I mean, I've just moved house, I don't wanna do it again for a long time.
