Toastcasting Update!

Well, myself and Andy were up until about 2.30am this morning getting the podcast finished and produced. I'm totally knackered today, wandering around in a bit of a daze (but not in any way compromising the health or safety of anyone where I work, due to my extreme awesomeness).

We did pretty well, I think. It's over an hour, but we really didn't want to take out anything we did, so we're sticking with it. The mix may be a bit rough in parts (especially the levels), but my laptop started groaning under the strain of having over 2GB of raw audio data and considerably less than that much memory available for it to use. We had an absolutely brilliant time doing it, really, we were laughing so much at several points I may have peed myself a little bit (whether it's as funny to anyone but the two of us is yet to be seen).

I got home at nearly 3am last night, and was in work at 9am this morning, so I haven't had a chance to upload it yet. As soon as I do, I will let anyone who cares know all about it, in big writing, probably just above this post on this here page. If anyone wants to, you can try putting www.lifewithouttoast.com/lifewithouttoastcast.xml into your iTunes/feedreader, and at some point in the next 12-24 hours(ish) you should have an hour-ish of audio goodness to peruse at your leisure.

Tsk! chop chop! we're all waiting...

Well, my fucking broadband has been down for a couple of hours (take a bow, NTL), and even now that's it's working, Filezilla is saying "28.3 KB/s", but wait a while. It'll be up later-ish.
