I think the mean average for bloggers will probably be 27, because we're generally smarter than most people. :-)
The Average for MySpace and Bebo users is probably 7.
The thing I liked about this test is as it only gives you 8 or so seconds to answer each question, you don't have time to look it up on Wikipedia. So cheaters are screwed.
The test does not have numbers. It's mostly general knowledge with the occasional scientific and/or nature-based factiod question thrown in.
The time constraints are such that you don't really have time to be nervous, and it never says "WRONG!" to any of the questions, you just get your score.
29!!
mind u that was on my third attempt.every time i do it i get a different score and im not sure which ones im getting wrong.
was bill clinton born in arkansas and when did they land on the moon?
It isn't really an intelligence test though is it. The year Christopher Columbus sailed across the Atlantic, or when did Neil Armstrong land on the moon are more general knowledge.
I still think general knowledge, in the current day and age can be as much a measure of intelligence as more quotient-based tests.
In other words, the person who wins Mastermind is always the one who gets the most general knowledge questions right, and that person is always very, very intelligent.

This blog looks totally, utterly pants in Internet Explorer. So stop making excuses and download Firefox (or even Opera or Safari)) right now (unless you already have).

I am nervous of taking the test. Does it have numbers in it? There's a reason I choose to teach 5 year olds you know.

So what you're saying Seamus, is that you actually got LESS than 27?! :-)

HA! I got 28. But then I was never going to get the question about what rapper sang what song, or the US mitsubishi model.

I got 27 also, and I note that in the meantime the average had gone down by 0.3.
