The Toastcasters - Part III

Click on the ticket to download the show, or press that nice little blue "play" button to listen in a streaming stylee.

If you subscribed to it via iTunes or another audio feed-reader, you should already have it, or it'll download itself next time you open iTunes.

If you haven't already subscribed, why not? It's quite good you know, and subscribing means you're almost guaranteed to never miss an episode. To subscribe put www.lifewithouttoast.com/Lifewithouttoastcast.xml in to iTunes into "advanced>subscribe to podcast", or if you use another feedreader the same address will work there too, if your feedreader is any good.

Happy listening!

What blue button?

Oh! That blue button!

Yes, the little blue del.icio.us "playtagger" button works by using "magic", and the "magic" can cause the page to load slowly, so at the moment the "magic" is in the footer and therefore loads last.

Whats wrong with Garbage...I like them. Stupid Girl is in fact MY SONG.

Giggled lots and lots at the music introduction to your ad break :-) Quality.

Downloading now, I imagine.

I like the concert ticket. You clever.

What's with Garbage? Hmmm... I think they're quite crap? Andy thinks they're even worse than that? Seriously, they will almost definitely never feature in on of our podcasts.

We only play music we like. That includes all requests. If people request something good*, it will be played.

Annie: Me no clever, me ripper-offer.

[*something we think is good]

I like Garbage.

Nooooooooo...

Am I going to be forced into playing some frickin' Gabage in the next podcast, by popular demand?

Dagnabbit.

I might go on strike...

I like the theme tune they did for James Bond, you know that one, "the world is not enough" thats good, the rest are pants, play "the world is not enough" on the next one......go on!

'the world is not enuf" i'll give u, but thats ur lot!
Garbage SUCK! Thats the bottom line!

"1 r 2 tracks does not the band make"
'The Band'

speakin of "The Band" I'd like 2 request a whole "The Band" hour!
I LOVKE LIKFE WITHOUTEK TOASTEN,YAAAAAAAH !

LIFKE WITHOUT TOASTEN IS THE BIG ROCKI SHIZNIT!
I LUV MY LIFE......WITHOUT TOAST!

Riiiight dude... Like, chillax, yeah? We shall play that ok-ish Garbage track on the next one, perhaps.

As for an entire "The Band" hour, I'm not sure. Maybe a "The Band" - themed hour. Or something...

Good night then Andy? :-)

Best show yet! I really liked it. WAAAY better than my 3rd show. The Zombie song was most excellent. It was all pretty good really.

I like 'Special' by Garbage- that is a really intense chorus.

High praise indeed, thanks a million dude, means a lot. In hindsight, I thought this one was a bit all over the place, as we were totally doing it on the fly and making it up as we went along.

I think Garbage are, well, garbage. With the possible exception of the James Bond theme.

I came here on a Google search for "podcast garbage" and wonder what that means.

It means that podcast and Garbage were mentioned several times in these comments, nothing more. Err... I hope.

Garbage rocks. Shirley is a babe, and people who play a Yoda song really shouldn't throw glass houses, insult their listeners or girlfriend.

And the song I requested is a really cool song and has a nice bit of history.

Other than that really great cast. You best yet. Made the 35 mins on the treadmill feel like at least 90. :) I mean 20

Garbage just don't push my buttons in the slightest, and Andy thinks they suck donkey balls. And Shirley... Well, lets just say she's not my type. And the Yoda song was ace, end of.

We might play the James Bond theme thingy nest time, if we can find something to mix it into/out of, as I kinda like that one.

Other than that, cheers! Hopefully we'll get round to doing the next one soonish (are you listening Chan?).
