Alaskan Proposal
This time, a slideshow for those of you who can't quite believe that the picture of me proposing to Nikki is real, here's another 30-something photos of the moment(s), set to some rather appropriate music.
Now do you believe me?
I was going to try to upload all the photos to Flickr, but not everybody would get to see the "story" then, so I thought this was the best way. If anyone wants to see the actual photos (who already hasn't), I can bring me laptop to the weddin' (dodges slap from Nikki)!

That's brillo, cheesey tastic but appropriate song choice, g'wanyagoodthang! Why are the pics so grainy dude? Hmm!

The pics are grainy because it's a web video, and the quality is craptacular, dudette.

Oh gawd...that had me in tears all over again!
Just as well the video doesnt allow sound or the world would just hear random sniffling and crap.
Love you Matt!

I think at our wedding the traditional "how long will the best mans/grooms speeches be" wagers will be replaced with "how many times will Nikki cry" wagers.
My money's on 17. :-)
(ps I love you too!)
(and no "barf" comments from anyone either, you jealous f**kers)

What babs said.
Also really cool for the two of you. Great pics.
Although your video format did give me a headache. Try make a stop-motion in iMovie ...

Unfortunately, Boinx has discontinued it's free version of iStopmotion, so unless I want to spend money for one project, this is the best you're getting.
Also unfortunately, I deleted the project file in iMovie after I produced the mpeg, so the format is stuck at "grainy" for now.
As for "what babs said", cheestacular is my middle name. :-)

Send me the pics and I'll do it.
I try never delete my iMovie source.

I thought you had no time to do like, anything? :-)
Anyhoo, the pics are like, 3 megs each, and there's 38 of them. Even if I was to FTP them to you it'd take all day. But if you set up a folder on your server and tell me where it is, I can do that. Thanks!

I have no time, but it's quick.
Put them in a folder on SDN and tell me where they are and I'll pull them down from that.

Hi Jackie!
In very simple, jargon-free terms, buy an Apple Mac. :-)
Posted by: Matt | August 18, 2007 5:49 PM
Hi Matthew and Nikki, in simple terms I dont have an Apple Mac and with a very expensive wedding to attend cant afford to buy one, sooo tell me how to do it on the machine I have, it's quite up todate I have only had it 5 years should be a piece of highly buttered toast to you, luv u Jackie xx

If it's less than 5 years old it should have Windows XP on it, and so it should also have a version of Windows Movie Maker. Have a look at that, it should do the job for something decent-ish.
If you don't have Windows Movie Maker, I'm afraid you're going to have to spend that fancy hat money on computer software instead!
